Cool to mention that the man from the article is of arab origin: Ahmed al Ahmed. Too bad they doxxed him, I suppose they just had to mention that fact, because some people will call "religious terrorist" every time there is some antisemitic massacre. (I am in no way saying neither xenophobia nor can be tolerated in any way)

I still use sci-hub because the newer the article, the less I trust it.

I am not a student anymore, though.

Well for a student or researcher, that’s completely impractical.

This looks like the perfect thing to replace my POS Jenn-Air oven's defective touchscreen control panel...

TFA "... which already powers AI Overviews and some of our search results. Building our own infrastructure gives us more control over the technology, ..."

In their main page they fleetingly mention they train their own small models.

I agree it's little info

The link is down. This is a snapshot from 2020

Google, the phone manufacturer and now the state running bloatware on my phone. I will have three dialers, calendars, etc. All of them uninstallable

Get GrapheneOS. The installation is painless and the OS surperior. No mainstream phone OS is viable in the privacy and security nightmare of today.

Not a mention of Clorito Picado?

The contest is cold, but it deserves at least a fleeting hint

>>"It is likely the presence of this malware that caused Google and Amazon to forcibly uninstall SmartTube on some devices, ... "

Where can I read more about *unrequested uninstalls*? Google search only shows results about how impossible it is to remove phone default apps.

That's refering to Play Protect (virus scan-ish thing on Google branded Android) and whatever Amazon's equivalent is, not an app requested force uninstall of some kind.

I am running Win 10 LTSC on "HP 205 G3 All-in-One Desktop PC" with 4GB RAM. Not the best experience, but plays youtube and can output to HDMI.

I am not saying you are wrong in general.

I am going farther offtopic, too. I have removed the radio on Samsung Galaxy IV device† and they still work. I don't know if that is possible for iphones, just throwing it here.

† I don't have the skills to reverse the process, though :)
