Hi! I'm a curious, self-driven full stack engineer who's equally happy creating + implementing designs and interactions on the front-end, as I am designing database schemas and writing scripts on the back end. To date, some of my accomplishments include:

- Building and launching the first couple versions of a web app as the primary full-stack engineer for an early-stage startup, Profesh.

- Building a web app from the ground up (ephem.fm) that texts users when radio shows matching their preferences are about to start. We wrote the front-end in React and the back end, including an API and several scraping scripts, in Python.

- Attending The Recurse Center, an educational retreat for software engineers, wherein I developed the version 2 of my personal project. That version includes real-time audio analysis of multiple radio streams using threading in Python, which passes those values to the front-end via web sockets routing through a websocket server built using FastAPI.

In future employment, I seek:

- A collaborative, communicative environment with individuals enthusiastic about the code they're writing

- Intellectually and creatively stimulating problems

- Possibly the opportunity to work with product design and user testing if applicable

Please reach out! I'd love to talk.

i'm working on a v2 of a site i created to allow people to find independent radio shows they'll enjoy (www.ephem.fm).

the current site texts you when shows matching your preferences are about to start. the next iteration will have visualizations of the music being played by each station in close to real time and allow you to select between them, save them, etc. the visualizations will be updated each minute and colors will be selected by the HSL color system, where hue = tempo (from blue for slower to red for faster), saturation (or intensity of color) = loudness, and lightness = pitch (technically, spectral centroid or 'center of mass' of frequencies of music).

i also want the ui to allow people to select from stickers i've taken pictures of around nyc and arrange them similar to concert venue bathrooms or middle school lockers haha.

altogether, want to create a fun way to explore independent radio!

I'm a self-driven, resourceful, and highly versatile full stack engineer. I’ve built two sites from the ground up and had broad responsibilities—from creating engaging, elegant front-ends to complex, synchronized back-ends.
