> Jon Larsen, a Norwegian jazz musician and creator of Project Stardust, was able to show that it is possible to find micrometeorites in more populated areas. In a study published in January 2017 in the journal Geology, he and his colleagues catalogued more than 500 lustrous micrometeorites (and counting), all recovered from rooftops in urban areas.
Sort of - YouTube started out as a Hot or Not with video.
"Chad and Steve agree that Karim deserves credit for the early idea that became, in Steve's words, "the original goal that we were working toward in the very beginning": a video version of HOTorNOT.com"
Great resource. I'm about to use Sass again after a hiatus of ~3yrs. Reading through this has been a great refresher on core principles and best practices.
Same here. New tab > open home page > scan my iGoogle feeds has been a very frequent and almost automatic habit of mine for years. When it redirected me to a search page it took a good second or two for me to realise what was going on.
Sometimes I'm trying to improve a step, and want to test a quick change. Going from Build Configuration up to Build Overview to click on Run Build is slow and easy to forget, and I don't want to check something in just o trigger a build.
Plus, TeamCity has 'Run Now' on every build-related page.
Here's a very similar thing from nearly 20 years ago. I remember watching this as a kid and it blew my mind. Distinctly remember the dog:

I'm no expert but it strikes me that the shadowless full-light exposures that he talks about are the real challenge here and maybe that sets it apart from other popular examples.
