lightpanda is the most detectable thing ever. A custom built browser with fingerprints any serious antibot instantly blocks.

You can build some great anti-bot mechanisms with simple https://github.com/abrahamjuliot/creepjs logic. A normal user will often appear 31% or lower 'like headless score', mobile is a bit different. You'll still have trouble against sophisticated infra: https://x.com/_alexspring/status/2037968450753335617

The only way you can block these "AI" scrapers is a combination of IP filtering (https://spur.us/) and Fingerprinting (https://abrahamjuliot.github.io/creepjs/).

Things like browserbase are easy to block with this. It's a losing battle though, personally moved entirely to real environments for https://browser.cash/developers

Hey HN,

I'm Alex from Browser Cash. We just launched our browser automation platform for web scraping and browser agents.

We're a small team of 3, who managed to out-bench all browser-as-a-service providers on stealth. This means we pass all antibot checks, passive captchas checks, and actually reach target pages.

The process and benchmark for how we did this is in our Product Hunt. If you like what we're building, an upvote while we're live means the world!
