My thought exactly.

I added a local-only account to a Win 11 Pro box just two days ago. Nothing seems different to me—the usual horsing around with the no online account stuff but it let me create the account.

Pro will allow it. Home which is what comes with most computers, does not now.

I saw rnicrosoft in use the other day, somewhere.

I just read the complete Eighth Circuit guide and found it to an excellent reference. Thank you for the link.

“… any substance, reflective matter, illuminated device, spray coating, covering, or other material that can be dynamically altered so that it interferes with the legibility or detectability of a vehicle/license plate pair (“fingerprint”) – or with the ability of a device to determine the vehicle fingerprint and to record it … shall be illegal.”

Some law, any day now.

A real Kramer is often much, much more than $2,500. Kramer’s mid-line knives go, even used, for $10–$30K while his high-end, rarer stuff goes for much more. In fact, Bourdain had a real Kramer with meteorite used in its construction that sold at auction in 2019 for $231,500.

The linked ones are real too. Probably just the economics of making blades might have changed.

So they are not real knives then, just rich boys play things?

Porque no los dos?

A knife you are scared to use, for fear of damaging it, is not a knife at all

Worked very well for me on iPad Pro and Safari. Only took a few secs to load.

Quick! Fins a Nakamichi 550 Portable. Amazing sonic and build quality.

I cherish my iPhone 12 Mini and treat it with great care as it is the form factor I want and I want it to last as long as possible.

Same here. Battery is a bit bad though. But I carry a battery pack. I do notice the charging port is also getting worse recently. I don't know what I'll buy after this...

My empirical observations conclude this is true in my little circle of the world. In our offices, we are using 2017–2019 era computers that are kept up and many of my friends, family and acquaintances are using iPhone 14 and older. I use an iPhone 12 mini because I love the mini form factor and treat the phone with care as I want it to last—hopefully until the next mini comes out which is likely forever, darn it.
