Enforce?

Are all of your positions like that, or only durable objects? I was always interested but the defined locations in the job descriptions held me back from applying.

This, like most parts of the application process, are team dependent at Cloudflare. I manage another team, Cloudflare D1, and I do not see myself hiring someone for that team that is not willing to do hybrid in Austin or London. The existing team works well being in the office.

“The job description says remote on HN, but it says hybrid Austin on the jobs page, but disregard that, it can be remote like I originally said. But also some teams are only going to be hybrid no matter what.

So some jobs are hybrid onsite and some are fully remote but even if i said just now that all jobs can be remote, some jobs aren’t really fully remote because I can’t envision it in my mind that they would be effective fully remote, even though I myself am fully remote.”

Did I understand what you wrote properly?

Are you okay?

100% but people hate to admit it.

I think what people hate to admit even less is that being judgmental like you are doing gives people a small power trip.

I'm not sure how this applies? We're talking about the "Claude Code on the Web" custom sandbox, not running Claude Code in GitHub Actions.

I just bought a washing machine that has an AI wash mode.

For me, the JS/LINQ style is much more readable than a bunch of for loops.

When implemented properly, it’s a convenient system. I enjoyed using it at the Stockholm airport a few months ago.

What makes you think that system was implemented securely?

Aren’t you supposed to show proofs of winning 160m when depositing into a bank? Even for just a few millions?

And a shady third world casino will happily provide that proof document in return for a 13% cut of your winnings.

I still think you’d get under an investigation (at least from the tax authorities, but I can imagine police too) after years of years consistently depositing millions of wins in your bank account.

I do not think shady people put their loot in bank. Most illicit activities and tax avoiding folks rely heavily on cash or other expensive exchangeable goods(rolex/jewellery/gems/gold bars/gold watches etc).

The EU digital covid certificate works quite nicely and I used it at multiple countries. This might be a bigger challange but still.

The EU covid certificate is nothing more than a signed piece of data with a PKI behind, the complexities between that and the eWallet proposal are orders of magnitude away.

It solves on problem for me. Since the introduction of Apple Pay I hate taking my wallet anywhere and 95% of the time I don’t. But my ID and driver’s license is in there and it’s needed sometimes. This gets me closer to the goal.

Let’s say, travelling to a different country without a wallet would be amazing to me.
