You should have responded something like "its fine on my end, you are not following the documentation i've written please take any complaints up with [Manager]" and then left your manager to deal with the problem they caused. Or lodge a complaint to the person above them. If they think its ok to run docs through an AI and hand it out uncritically they should be fired on the spot.

you're really complaining that they're using location based keywords? Using a location based keyword to serve a relevant sponsored post isnt personal data. I swear mozilla haters just want it to die so they can use chrome guilt free.

That's just one example, the link I pointed to contains other examples.

Firefox security bad, Chrome good and safe.

Location data is personal data, same as seach data in general but that battle has long been lost with Firefox which sells all user searches to google anyways.

but what if I care about the world? I dont want to embrace craziness if there is any chance to preserve normality.

Lots of small companies pumping out software to solve problems. What will happen is companies will switch to their software, get burnt and then never move off established large core tech similar to what we see today but far worse.

These small companies will only be able to sell through basically scam marketing.

Why? That seems like a huge leap. It's not even uncommon for small companies to make better products and take customers from bigger ones. That's how a lot of companies get started.

In the short term they may be living their life unaffected but if we're right then they will eventually become affected. Maybe this is enough reason for us to talk about this issue and try and get ahead of it. I dont think its futile or wasted.

Why would anyone want to invest in a shoe company turned GPU-as-a-Service company? This seems like the biggest grift ever.

It wasnt "fine".

Oh, the social media was much, much better. People much more open, tracking didn't exist. All the idiots still thought computers were only a thing for nerds and kids.

Depends how its planned. If its planned to fail but designed in a way thats cheap and easy to replace its ok. Because sometimes it can be the case that to much is spent over engineering a high use part when would be more practical to let it break and replace it every 2 years or so.

they are customized for his body. if he started catering to a mass audience he'd be creating the exact thing he is avoiding

in 2 years they'll have 100x the drone production and chinese anti ship missles

In 2 years Hormuz will not matter potentially. You can’t win with the same strategy twice.

With battery tech going the way its going in two years how far do you think these drones will fly? Enough to hit all surrounding countries and cause chaos. There is also the Al bab whatever its called strait as well to shutdown.

I worry this war has only made things worse in every regard and pulling out at a time like this is also bad. The reason no one wanted to get into this position is because it takes some fucked shit and some pain to get out properly.
