Docker seems to be in great need for a monetizing play. Docker has a great mindshare in open source community but is making very less to none strides in commercial offering (read reaching profitability and keeping investors happy)...thus this PR!
Not a fan of apple music, mainly because I find my chord with Spotify earlier. But pinning the unpopularity (or rather low popularity) of the app to Apple "not" being an internet company or being a hardware-first company is probably near sighted.
Which app has a universal "reliability and likable UX design"? To each its own! I feel a lot of "new" users might be (and am pretty sure are) finding their good vibes with apple too.
This is very sad. Just this week I have been reading "The hard thing about hard things" by Ben Horowitz and he makes countless mention of how great Bill Campbell was.
i had the opportunity to work on the FF OS and it was very similar to building a chrome extension or phone-gap solution. This was back in 2013 and the interface, support was very sub par. I worked directly with FF on the deployment of our app!
The devices / OS version mix played a big role in tuning, retuning nad detuning the app. I wondered how long would it take for FFto kill off the initiative! 2.5 years!!
The difference is that 1BB active uses means (potential) ad revenue from 1BB users as opposed to 1BB "active mind share' for Whastapp. Zuck, has yet to come with some way to monitise the headcounts.
