We host two sites with Netlify and monitor both of them with Pingdom. Over the past two months, we've had a total of 2 hours downtime for different reasons, from bad SSL certificates to total unavailability of the site.
We use AWS Route 53 as our DNS and a static site generator for our site which should make everything very simple.
That plus the recent covert price hike has us moving to Cloudflare pages.
